8 days samburu, lake nakuru, masai mara & amboseli Details

Day 1; Nairobi – Samburu
Depart for Samburu National Reserve through Mt Kenya. You will pass through Equator line in Nyanyuki town. You will arrive with a short game enroute at Samburu. Check in at Sopa Lodge and have lunch. Later afternoon game drive across the park which is a unique resident wildlife species like the Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy’s Zebra, Beisa Oryx and the Blue legged Somali Ostrich. Dinner and overnight at Sopa Lodge 

Day 2: Full Day in Samburu

• Spend the day exploring Samburu National Reserve with morning and afternoon game drives.
• Visit the Ewaso Nyiro River, a lifeline for wildlife in the reserve.
• Enjoy sightings of elephants, lions, leopards, and other savannah species.
• Return to your accommodation for meals and relaxation at Sopa Lodge 

Day 3: Travel to Lake Nakuru

• After breakfast, depart from Samburu and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park.
• Arrive at Lake Nakuru and check-in at your chosen accommodation.
• Enjoy lunch and relax before an afternoon game drive in the park.
• Look out for flamingos, rhinos, lions, and other wildlife.
• Return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay at Sopa Lodge 

Day 4: Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara

• After breakfast, depart from Lake Nakuru and drive to Masai Mara National Reserve.
• Arrive at Masai Mara and check-in at your chosen accommodation.
• Enjoy lunch and relax before an afternoon game drive in the reserve.
• Explore the vast plains and search for the Big Five and other wildlife.
• Return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay at Sopa Lodge 

Day 5: Full Day in Masai Mara

• Spend the day exploring Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives.
• Visit the Mara River and witness wildlife interactions, especially during the Great Migration season.
• Enjoy sightings of lions, cheetahs, wildebeests, and more.
• Optional hot air balloon safari at sunrise (book in advance).
• Return to your accommodation for meals and relaxation at Sopa Lodge 

Day 6: Travel to Amboseli

• After breakfast, depart from Masai Mara and drive to Amboseli National Park.
• Arrive at Amboseli and check-in at your chosen accommodation.
• Enjoy lunch and relax with views of Mount Kilimanjaro.
• In the afternoon, embark on a game drive in Amboseli.
• Look out for elephants, giraffes, zebras, and other wildlife.
• Return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay at Sopa Lodge 

Day 7: Full Day in Amboseli

• Spend the day exploring Amboseli with morning and afternoon game drives.
• Enjoy views of Mount Kilimanjaro and capture stunning photographs.
• Visit the seasonal marshes and observe birdlife.
• Optional cultural visit to a Maasai village (subject to availability).
• Return to your accommodation for meals and relaxation at Sopa Lodge 

Day 8: Departure

• Enjoy a final morning game drive in Amboseli.
• Return to your accommodation for breakfast and check-out.
• Depart from Amboseli either by road or flight, depending on your onward travel plans.
